Brazos County Record Offices
The Brazos County Sheriff’s Office and detention center use different lines for different questions. The main office is at 1700 W. State Highway 21, Bryan, TX 77803, and its main number is (979) 361-4900. Sheriff’s Records is (979) 361-4903; the Public Information Office is (979) 361-4906; and Civil/Warrant is (979) 361-4920. Normal office hours are generally Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., unless the particular line is identified as round-the-clock.
The Brazos County Detention Center is at 1835 Sandy Point Road, Bryan, TX 77807. Its detention and nonemergency line, also used for bonds questions, is (979) 361-4800 and is available 24 hours. Booking is (979) 361-4811. For a public-information request concerning a booking record or photo, use the Brazos County JustFOIA portal and identify the person and approximate booking date.
